About the Journal
Editorial process
- The Call for Papers is announced
- Authors upload their articles to the Easy Chair platform
- The peer review process for the individual articles within each proceedings collection is under the responsibility of the conference organizers, scientific committee and guest editors of each issue
- The scientific committee of the congress (consisting of senior researchers in the relevant field) selects the review committee based on their professional experience and publications
- Selected reviewers are invited to be part of the review committee
- Articles are assigned to reviewers according to their area of expertise. Double blind peer review is used
- The reviewers issue comments and grades for assigned articles
- The authors make the suggested corrections
- The reviewers issue a final grade between 3 and -3. The minimum grade for the article to be selected is 1.5
- The journal’s editorial board subsequently performs a final quality check and only then are the articles released for publication
ESPOCH Congresses: The Ecuadorian Journal of S.T.E.A.M. does not accept individual submissions for consideration.
