The International conference with elements of school for young scientists on recycling and utilization of technogenic formations was based on the following theme and objectives:

Sino-Russian ASRTU Conference Alternative Energy: Materials, Technologies, and Devices
China and Russia have a perspective collaboration that includes various activities of cultural and people-to-people exchanges, aimed to deepen the understanding and friendship between the two countries. In order to enhance the communication between the scientists of the two countries, to promote scientific and technological innovation and economic modernization, ASRTU decided to organize the Sino-Russian ASRTU Conference on Alternative Energy. Sino-Russian ASRTU Conference on Alternative Energy was organized with an aim to provide a forum for academics, researchers, and engineers to present their papers on recent advances and to meet and exchange information on all aspects of alternative energy: materials, technologies, and devices. The conference covered all aspects of alternative energy materials, technologies and devices including, but not limited to: (i) materials for energy generation, storage, and conversion, (ii) advanced fabrication techniques of functional energy materials and devices, and (iii) wind, solar, smart-grids and other devices (solutions).
Conference topics: materials for energy generation; materials for storage and conversion; advanced fabrication techniques of energy materials and devices; wind, solar, smart-grids and other devices (solutions); economic and ecological aspects of alternative energy.

IV Congress “Fundamental Research and Applied Developing of Recycling and Utilization Processes of Technogenic Formations” Volume 2020
This collection contains selected papers from TECHNOGEN 2019. This is the fourth scientific-technical conference of young scientists on recycling and utilization of technogenic formations. Held between the 18th and 21st of June 2019, in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation, the event was hosted by the Institute of Metallurgy of the Russian Academy of Science.
This collection contains 94 peer-reviewed papers, and offers new and original research across a variety of topics including: investigations into the technogenic wastes produced by mining and metallurgic industries; analysis of the structure and physico–chemical properties of manufacturing by-products; theoretical solutions for waste-free manufacturing and recycling efficiencies; and new technological developments involving the utilization of domestic and municipal wastes.
These papers will be of interest to academics, students and professionals conducting research into or working on the issues of recycling and utilization of technogenic formations.

Shape Memory Biomaterials and Implants in Medicine (SMBIM)
SMBIM-2017 provided a unique and ideal opportunity for a broad spectrum of researchers, clinicians, and other professionals to meet, discuss, share, learn and connect in order to enhance their knowledge on shape memory biomaterials for wide clinical practice. The 15th International School-Conference on "New materials – Materials of Innovative Energy: Development, Characterization Methods and Application" is an annual scientific meeting for students, young researchers, scientists, engineers, industry professionals, and university lecturers. 1st International FibEnTech Congress (FibEnTech21) – New Opportunities for Fibrous Materials in the Ecological Transition
This collection contains selected papers from the 1st International FibEnTech Congress (FibEnTech21) – New Opportunities for Fibrous Materials in the Ecological Transition held in Covilhã, Portugal on the 9th–10th of December 2021. This event was hosted by the Fiber Materials and Environmental Technologies (FibEnTech) research unit and supported by project UIDB/00195/2020, funded by the Portuguese Fundação para a Ciencia e Tecnologia (FCT).
The conference was held to discuss the latest advances and innovations in environmentally sound technologies and fibrous materials from the perspectives of ecological transition and sustainable development.
